Eat and snack smart
What food you put into your mouth will significantly affect your teeth. We understand that your life is hectic right now; however, try to be careful when choosing what you eat on the run. It is important to avoid foods high in sugar and starch which can cause cavities. Choose fresh fruits and vegetables instead of junk foods.
Be kind to your body – Don’t smoke!
All of the warnings you hear about smoking is true. Besides lung and heart problems, smoking can also cause oral cancer. Reports show over 90% of oral cancer is caused by tobacco. If you do smoke, please speak with your doctor or an adult about how to quit.
Wear a mouthguard
